Faded lines make a good property look neglected. We bring them back.
Parking lot paint doesn't last forever — especially in New England. Between plow blades, road salt, freeze-thaw cycles, and daily traffic, even a great striping job wears down. When your stalls are ghost lines and your crosswalks have gone faint, it's time for a restripe.
Jagged Edge Line Striping repaints faded parking lots across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Stalls, arrows, crosswalks, accessible spaces, fire lanes, numbers, and lettering — repainted with clean, precise lines.
Signs your lot needs restriping
- Stall lines are fading or patchy. When markings are too faint to follow easily, it's time for fresh paint.
- Crosswalks are hard to see. Faint pedestrian markings are a safety issue, not just a cosmetic one.
- Arrows and directional markings have worn off. Confusing traffic flow leads to near-misses and frustrated visitors.
- Accessible spaces are no longer clearly marked. Faded accessible stalls and access aisles need refreshing to stay easy to identify.
- Fire lanes are barely visible. If a fire lane doesn't read well at a glance, it's not doing its job.
- The lot just looks tired. Fresh striping is one of the most cost-effective curb-appeal upgrades a property can get — it makes the whole place look maintained.
What a restripe includes
Every restriping project is a little different, but most include some combination of:
- Parking stalls — repainted over your existing layout, crisp and uniform.
- Accessible parking spaces — accessible stalls and access aisles refreshed to the layout you approve.
- Directional arrows — traffic flow arrows repainted so drivers know where to go.
- Crosswalks — pedestrian walkways repainted for maximum visibility.
- Fire lanes — no-parking fire lanes restriped and restenciled to stand out.
- Stop bars and legends — "STOP" markings and stop bars at exits and intersections.
- Numbers and lettering — stall numbers, reserved-space lettering, and custom stencils.
- Hatch markings and no-parking zones — striped-out areas repainted clean.
If your lot needs more than a refresh — a new layout, reconfigured traffic flow, or markings for a repaved surface — that's a different job, and we do that too.
Why restripe instead of waiting
- Safety. Well-defined markings guide drivers and protect pedestrians. Faded lines don't.
- Safety and compliance. Well-marked accessible spaces, fire lanes, and crosswalks help protect pedestrians and keep your property properly designated.
- Appearance. Customers, tenants, and visitors judge a property by its parking lot before they ever walk inside.
- Cost. Restriping on a regular cycle is far cheaper than letting markings disappear entirely and paying for a full re-layout later.

FAQ
How do I know if my lot needs restriping or a whole new layout?
If the layout still works and the paint is just worn, you need a restripe — we repaint over your existing markings. If the lot was repaved, reconfigured, or the traffic flow doesn't work anymore, you likely need a new layout. Send photos and we'll tell you straight which one fits.
How often should a lot be restriped?
Many lots need it every 1–2 years, depending on traffic volume, plowing, pavement condition, and overall wear. Lots that see heavy traffic or aggressive winter plowing are on the shorter end.
How long does restriping take?
Many smaller restriping jobs can be completed in a few hours. Larger commercial lots take longer, but many commercial restriping projects can be completed in a single visit.
Can you restripe without closing the lot?
In most cases, yes. We can often work in sections to keep portions of the property accessible, and we offer early morning, evening, and weekend scheduling.
Do you repaint accessible parking spaces?
Yes — refreshing faded accessible stalls and access aisles is a common part of restriping work. We paint to the layout you approve. Final compliance decisions should be confirmed against current state and federal requirements.
Will the new paint match the old layout exactly?
Yes. Restriping follows your existing markings — we repaint what's there, just sharper. If you want changes to the layout, tell us upfront and we'll price it as a layout adjustment.
What kind of paint do you use?
We use quality traffic paint suited to New England conditions. If your project specs call for a particular product, we'll confirm compatibility before quoting.
Do you offer recurring restriping on a schedule?
Yes. We can set up recurring restriping on a schedule — for an individual property or across a multi-site portfolio — planned at intervals based on each property's condition and traffic.
